Funding Structure
One thing that differentiates VOICE from many other groups is that the majority of our revenue–usually 60-70% of the annual budget–comes from our members, individual donors, and gifts from local community institutions. This is important to us because it means VOICE is directly accountable to our members. VOICE also receives support from a number of philanthropic foundations and businesses who support our belief that people working together have the power to change their communities and their country for the better.

VOICE Expenses
VOICE invests the bulk of our resources into staff salaries, training for leaders, and our issue campaigns. Less than 6% of our budget is spent on overhead. VOICE is committed to being a good employer, offering fair wages and strong benefits.
